Distribution of Pulai (Alstonia angustiloba) in UiTM Jengka Forest Reserve / Wan Mohd Farid Wan Abdul Manaf, Syaiedeen Awang Rani and Muhammad Hafiz Ahmad Zaini

A research was carried to perform the distribution of Pulai spp in UiTM Jengka Forest Reserve (UiTMJFR). The study area is about 269.34 acres of area and including the area nearby it inside UiTM. The method used to make the research is to find the tree 5 meter both right and left in each line. A total of Pulai spp that has been found is categorized based on Diameter Breast Height (D.B.H) and tall range. In this research, the total 9 tree were found respectively. From the research that were conducted UiTMJFR are not suitable for Pulai spp because it is only suitable in open area where is less competition.
