Professor Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas is an authoritative intellectual. Many of bis idea influences scientists in Malaysia and the outside world. He is an important figure that sparked the idea of Islamism' besides Syed Qutb and Ismail al-Farugi. This study explains how to find the meaning of 'al-adab' (understand al-Adab) in determining the theory and concept of Islamic literature. This closely linked to the idea of a Islamicization that is pranking. If the. a of Islamization is expressed there is acceptance and there is a sign. Many parties may accept Islam in the fields of education, economics, law and so forth but not in the field of literature. This because literature is something that is related to fantasy. What can be imagined in Islamization' right? This study explains the concept of Islamic literary literature on the basis of 'al-baq' (true) unlike other religious faiths, especially Christians as the most religious followers of the world. 'Al Haq' is what grows culture in Islam. The fundamentals and teachings of Islam are still sacred and remain as a trust from Allah swt, unlike the Christian religion that has been changed to its 'authentic nature as the religion a of Allah swt. Jesteru only permits the truth and guidance. Something false is impossible to produce the true truth that has a spiritual connection with the creator, because Allah swt only accepts the true and sincere in the affairs of bis religion.
