Professor Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas is a reliable intellectual. Many of his ideas influenced intellectuals in Malaysia and the outside world. He was an important figure who sparked the idea of 'Islamization' in addition to Syed Qutb and Ismail al-Faruqi. This study explains about finding the meaning of 'al-adab' (understand al-Adab) in determining the theory and concept of Islamic literature. When the idea of Islamization is expressed, some people accept it and some reject it. Many parties can accept Islamization in the fields of education, economics, law and so on but not in the field of literature. This is because literature is something related to delusion. Is it possible to have an illusion in 'Islamization'? This study explains the concept of Islamic literature based on the true 'al-haq' (truth) unlike other religions, especially Christianity as a divine religion with the world's largest followers. It is 'Al Haq' that cultivates culture in Islam. The principles and teachings of Islam are still pure and remain as a trust from Allah swt, unlike Christianity which has been changed to lose its 'authentic' nature as a religion from Allah swt. Thus only truth can produce truth and guidance. Something that is false is impossible to produce the genuine truth that has a spiritual connection with the creator, because Allah swt only accepts the truth and sincere in his religious affairs.
