| Summary: | This study is about the Turkish poet Mohammed Akef Arsoy, who tells about his life journey, his relationship with people around him and his friends, as well as his great career in the life of this intellectual world, as a writer, poet, veterinarian, memorizer of the Quran, preachers, and translators. From this, we can see that he considers the Qur'an and the Sunnah as true and reliable guidance. He continued his life by doing his best to understand and recognize Islam, then conveyed it to mankind. Furthermore, he is also great in science and has an deep understanding of the knowledge of criticizing the West, even venturing into the field of the Islamic world. He was willing to forget his own hardships in order to bear the hardships of the nation and sacrifice his life to revive the spirit of Islam and the new nation. As a result, creative and imaginative literature and poetry has been used as a platform to convey the truth and evoke the spirit of humanity. And from all my heart, I can say that if Akef lived in the time of Rasulullah, most probably he would be a great poet like Hassan Bin Thabit. |
