Second: the role of donation in the form of “temporary endowment” in regulating and standardizing charitable acts based on shariah and legal framework. Third: How benevolence loan (Qard Hasan) in the form of "temporary Waqf" can encourage and expands the scope of financial cooperation between people. Fourth: Explanation of some models for the application of the temporary Waqf based on Malaysian experience. Fifth: Proposing models to activate "temporary Waqf" for financing socio-economic activities purposes. Methodology: This study adopts inductive and analytical approaches in qualitative research. The study will conduct field research to explore the opinions of Waqf experts in Malaysia through online interviews. 2021-10-28 Conference or Workshop Item NonPeerReviewed application/pdf en http://irep.iium.edu.my/93479/20/93479_%20Activating%20temporary%20waqf%20and%20its%20mechanisms%20in%20social%20financing%20in%20alleviating%20the%20effects%20of%20Covid-19.pdf application/pdf en http://irep.iium.edu.my/93479/7/Activating%20Temporary%20Waqf.pdf application/pdf en http://irep.iium.edu.my/93479/19/TURKEY%20PROCEEDING%20for%20RMC%20%284%29.pdf application/pdf en http://irep.iium.edu.my/93479/13/IIEC%20PROGRAM%20AND%20LINKS%20%283%29.pdf Ghalia, Bouhedda and Busari, Saheed Abdullahi and Yunus, Saidatolakma (2021) Activating temporary waqf and its mechanisms in social financing in alleviating the effects of Covid-19: applicable prospects in Malaysia.
