Summary:Jordan is suffering from high youth unemployment rates, knowing that Jordan has one of the youngest populations in the world this will exacerbates the already difficult socio-economic situation, being amidst a politically disturbed region caused floods of refugees that swept the country to compound the employment issues. COVID-19 pandemic has only made the situation worse, overall, this increases the poverty level. The Jordanian government is no more capable of meeting the yearly employment demands, the private sector and interested global organizations has to contribute towards creating employment opportunities. The education sector is involved with this complication, many fresh graduates are not ready for work sector, they lack professional skills and self-development mentality. This paper is following the design thinking approach to develop a business model using Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Value Proposition Canvas (VPC) for a conceptual project that adopts the idea of the University of the Future (UotF) provided by International Univerity of Malaysian IIUM by utilizing both international community engagement and digital entrepreneurship education, with a main endeavor of reducing poverty and unemployment rate for the vulnerable youth of Jordan.
