Summary:This resource/disclosure is an audio guide containing the 112 original voice files of Dr. Zurahani Abdul Rahim (IIUM) for the articulation of the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) symbols. The recordings were for all consonant and vowel symbols featured in the IPA chart (IPA chart, Revised to 2015). In summary, the audio/voice recordings account for 58 pulmonic consonants, 14 non-pulmonic consonants, 12 ‘other symbols’, and 28 vowels. Each file is clickable and embedded onto sections of the IPA relevant to the different sound categories within one single Powerpoint file. A PDF version of the file can be referred to for the viewing of the placements of where the voice files are embedded, and also to refer to the source IPA symbol ‘sounded out and modeled in the file. This resource/disclosure is not a manuscript and therefore has no text to evaluate. It is a compilation of voice files for the IPA symbols, and all voice files are original recordings of the author. The IPA chart and related references have been cited and properly acknowledged in the references section.
