This provides the opportunity for the women to not only taking care of the family, but at the same time contribute to the income of the family. However, such drastic changes posed an issue when it was reported that there is an apparent lack of financial literacy among the mompreneur. Therefore, the objective of this study to look into the function of Islamic social finance in improving the financial literacy among the mompreneur. The study undertakes a meta-analysis through in-depth literature review approach to analyse the issue of financial illiteracy among the Muslim mompreneurs in Malaysia and how Islamic social finance may overcome such conundrum. It provides an analytical conceptual study whereby it transcends the role of Islamic social finance in improving the financial literacy among the mompreneurs in Malaysia.
