يعد الإمام الزركشي أحد أساطين العلم في القرن الثامن الهجري؛ ورغم قصر مدة حياته نسبياً -إذ لم تتجاوز 49 سنة- إلا أنه قد خلَّف مكتبة عامرة بمصنفات غطت جميع مجالات العلوم الشرعية واللغوية. ولقد كان المؤلف وكتبه موضوعاً للعديد من الدراسات الأكاديمية، خاصة فيما يتعلق منها بجانب الدراسات القرآنية، والفقهية، والأصولية، واللغوية على وجه التحديد، أما الجانب الحديثي -على ثرائه لديه- فالبحوث العلمية حوله لا تتعدى جانب تحقيق بعض مؤلفاته فحسب، مما أثار اهتمامي لإبراز جهود هذه الشخصية العلمية في الحديث وعلومه، والتي تضم 16 مؤلفاً غطت أهم جوانب الدراسات الحديثية. ولقد سلكتُ في بحثي هذا عدة مناهج؛ وهي: المنهج الاستقرائي لتتبع جهود الإمام الزركشي في هذا المجال، ثم المنهج التحليلي لدراسة ما وقفت عليه من مؤلفات وآراء مبثوثة في كتبه، وأخيراً المنهج النقدي لبيان قيمة جهوده وآرائه بين علماء الفن. ولقد توصل الباحث إلى نتائج مهمة؛ منها: أن الإمام الزركشي يعد أول من ألف في الأحاديث المشتهرة، وهو من أوائل من ألف كتاباً مستقلاً في نقد متن الحديث، كما أنه أضاف ثلاثة عشر نوعاً جديداً في علوم الحديث مما لم يذكره ابن الصلاح في مقدمته، مع ما تميزت به مؤلفاته عموماً من الإضافات والتحقيقات العلمية القيمة، إلى جانب الكم الهائل من المصادر والموارد المعتمدة لديه التي تعد إحدى السمات البارزة لمصنفات هذا الإمام. Al-Imam al-ZarkashÊ (745-794 AH) is a prominent figure in the history of Islamic legal thought during the eighth century AH. He lived for a short period; however, he produced a rich intellectual legacy which covers many areas of Islamic as well as Arabic language sciences. Although al-ZarkashÊ is known by scholars and researchers by his significant contributions in jurisprudence more than any other area, this study attempts to shed light on other areas in which his contribution is not negligible. In ×adÊth sciences, in which he devoted 16 pieces of his works, there is similar significance with other fields that built al-ZarkashÊ’s scientific legacy. The research relies mainly on surveying ZarkashÊ's works and approaching them analytically to demonstrate their relevance and scientific value. The findings of the research can be summarized as follows: The contribution of al-ZarkashÊ is seen in the early interest he showed in studying ÍadÊth known as “famous” or “mushtahara”. He is considered to be among the first Muslim scholars to write on the topic of “the analysis of ÍadÊth content”. He added 13 new subjects in the field to the ones introduced by Ibn ØallÉh in his work Al-MuqaÌimah. In his works, many views, analyses and critics are considered original in both style of presentation and demonstration. His contribution relies not only on his personal view and analysis, but also on the way he used the available sources at his time. In fact, his writings helped to keep and transmit many views and opinions of his precedents and contemporaries which might not be available today.
