While writing my story, I was searching for some information for it through Google. The Cerebral Palsy hero, who is always with me in my home office, was looking at the computer screen and asking me, “Umi cari apa? (What are you searching for?).” I replied, “Umi cari maklumat sikit tentang jenis-jenis Cerebral Palsy” (I am searching for some information regarding types of Cerebral Palsy). Then, he said, while looking at several images of Cerebral Palsy through Google, “Oh, tu penyakit adik. Adik cacat, Adik OKU” (Oh! That’s about me. I am disabled. I am a person with a disability). As I always listen to this from him, which I can say almost daily, I replied, “Tak, adik tak cacat. Adik istimewa” (No, you are not disabled. You are just special). As usual, I hug him tightly and lovingly to calm his emotions. While hugging him, I said, “Adik istimewa. Adik baik. Adik hensem. Umi sayang Adik” (You are special. You are a good boy. You are a handsome boy. I love you so much). After he felt relieved upon hearing my comforting words, I asked him to continue playing, as I needed to concentrate on writing about living with him in the new norm.
