concisely the basic notions and founding principles of the Islamic financial and banking
products. It elucidates religious commands and guidelines of earning wealth decently
(al-kasb al-halal) through and within the Islamic teachings, and then exposes the concepts
and sources of the Islamic commercial law (fiqh al-mu’amalat al-maliyyah wa masadiruhu).
The book also explains the requirements (shurut), elements (arkan) and types (anwa’) of
valid sale contracts (‘uqud al-bay’ al-sahihah), as well as the modes and the models of
