The purpose of this study was to determine differences in work strategy and work fatigue levels of female and male dentists during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Research questionnaires were distributed online and obtained by 311 dentists who are members of the IDA. The level of work fatigue was measured using the Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS). The statistical difference test used the Mann–Whitney test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between female and male dentists on the work strategy ofhours of practice per day (p = 0.002), practice days per week (p = 0.000), average patients per day (p = 0.003) and adherence to wearing PPE (p = 0.011); however, there was no difference to the level of work fatigue (p = 0.558). This study concludes that there is no difference in the level ofwork fatigue between female and male dentists during the COVID-19 pandemic. This condition is caused by differences in work strategy arrangements which play an important role in the level of work fatigue.
