هذا كتاب تعليمي يهدف إلى تعريف الطالب المتخصص في تعليم اللغة الثانية ماهية اللغة وطبيعتها، وعلاقتها بالفكر وعلاقة الفكر بها، وكيف تكتسب اللغة الأولى وكيف تتعلم اللغة الثانية، وما الفرق بين الاكتساب والتعلم، وما السن الأنسب لكليهما. ونوقشت هذه القضايا في الفصل الأول. وناقش الفصل الثاني إستراتيجيات تعليمِ اللغة الثانية وتعلُّمِها وتعليم الدارسِ كيفيةَ التعلُّم أهم قضية في قضايا العملية التعليمية. الفصل الثالث: "المهارات اللغوية في مجال تعليم اللغة الثانية". وعرض المؤلف لهذه المهارات وأهميتها وكيفية تدريسها، وتقديم نماذج تطبيقية لطريقة تدريس المهارات الأربعة. وفي الفصل الرابع: "بناء منهج اللغة الثانية ونقده: اللغة العربية أُنْموذجا". ناقش المؤلف تعريف المنهج واقترح تعريفا يتوافق والفكر الإسلامي، ويقترح بعض السمات التي يجب أن تتوافر للمنهج ولتعريفه. وكذلك يناقش مكونات المنهج. وأَيّ منهجٍ دراسيٍّ يتكون من: الأهداف، والمحتوى، والطريقة، والوسائل والأنشطة، وأخيرا التقويم. وقد ناقش البحث هذه العناصر جميعها بإطناب؛ لأن المنهج يمثل الواقع الحقيقي للعملية التعليمية بجميع جوانبها مستفيدا بما جاء من معايير ومواصفات في "الإطار المرجعي الأوروبي المشترك لتعليم اللغات الأجنبيةCEFR ". الفصل الخامس والأخير: "سيكولوجية الوسائل التعلمية وتكنولوجيا التعليم". ناقش هذا الفصل تعريف الوسائل التعليمية، وأصل لاستخدامها وأنواعها وفرق بين مصطلحَيْ الوسائل التعليمية وتكنولوجيا التعليم. وناقش الكاتب أثر الوسائل التعليمية وتكنولوجيا التعليم على المتعلمين وأهميتهما. كما أنه أكد على ضرورة جعل الوسائل التعليمية ومراقبة تنفيذها من مهام الإدارات التعليمية والمؤسسات التربوية. = This educational book aims to familiarize the specialized language learner with the nature of language, its relationship with thought, the acquisition of the first language, and the learning of the second language. It delves into the distinctions between acquisition and learning, discussing the most suitable age for each in the first chapter. The second chapter explores strategies for teaching and learning the second language, emphasizing the importance of teaching students how to learn as a crucial aspect of the educational process. The third chapter focuses on "Language Skills in Second Language Teaching," presenting the author's discussion of these skills, their significance, how to teach them, and providing practical examples of teaching the four skills. In the fourth chapter, "Building the Second Language Curriculum and Critique: Arabic Language as a Model," the author discusses the definition of the curriculum, proposing a definition in line with Islamic thought, suggesting essential features that should be present in the curriculum, and examining its components, including goals, content, method, resources and activities, and finally, assessment. The study thoroughly examines all these elements, as the curriculum represents the real essence of the educational process in all its aspects, drawing on criteria and specifications from the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)." The fifth and final chapter, "Psychology of Educational Media and Educational Technology," discusses the definition, origin, types, and the difference between the terms educational media and educational technology. The author explores the impact of educational media and technology on learners and underscores the necessity of making educational media and monitoring their implementation the responsibilities of educational administrations and institutions.
