Description
Summary:This report basically discusses thepreliminary research done andbasic understanding of the chosen topic, which is monitoring the dengue population/breeding ground using Geographic Information System (GIS) for dengue mitigation process. The objective of the project is to find the scientific reasons and proof of the dengue population and search for the factors that make them grow in the community via comparing thepattern of the victims and suspected that are effected bythe virus with the transportation way, structures, and residential areas. The challenge in this project is to gather the data required and also a lot of assumption will be done because until now there are no proved scientific data to help the studies. Field work will be done together with the help from the Ministry of Health of Batu Gajah, Perak to gather all data that are required for this project. All the data will be collected and the comparison viaGIS will be done to satisfy all assumption that hasbeen done before.
