Zinc Nitrate was added to Tetraethoxysilane at ratio molarity of Zinc Nitrate:Tetraethoxysilane at 0.3:0.3 and 0.1:0.5. To promote the reaction, the Nitric Acid and base, Sodium Hydroxide was added for the dried gel formation purpose. The prepared dried gel of ZnO-Si02 at 120°C was heated to different calcination temperatures which are at 400°C, 500°C, 600°C and 700°C. The structure and thermal behavior of nanocomposite was identified through X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometry (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) andThermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA). Throughout this report will be discussed more onthe structure andcharacteristic the synthesis nanoparticles for its physical and chemical properties.
