DEVELOPMENT OF NOVEL TECHNIQUE FOR PORE PREDICTION USING MODIFIED EATON EQUATION

The project aims to assist drillers for pore pressure prediction in the sea during operation of drilling. The importance to measure pore pressure was because it can help the drillers in terms of preparation to build a well that will give maximum revenues and also safe. Through Eaton's equation,...

Electronics Nuclear engineering The project aims to assist drillers for pore pressure prediction in the sea during operation of drilling. The importance to measure pore pressure was because it can help the drillers in terms of preparation to build a well that will give maximum revenues and also safe. Through Eaton's equation, pore pressure can be predicted whether the area is subnormal, normal, or abnormal. Through data that I obtained, it is inadequate to show all types of pressures. Overall the result obtained is from abnormal zone. This project will help drillers to reduce time consuming on drilling process. Apart from that, productions of well would also be maximized, without forgetting the safety aspect.
