Flood damage estimation and modeling
To model the flooding over the area, the author uses data gathered from various sources, which are then compiled and matched with areas on the GIS map. The attribute tables are exported out of ArcMap as *. dbf files and opened in Excel. Then it is saved as a comma-delimited file (*. csv).
