Peninsular Malaysia has seen an expansion in low to direct seismic exercises because of two principle sources that have been recognized as the supporters of quake peril in Peninsular Malaysia, particularly at the western part, which is Sumatra Slip Fault (SFZ) and Subduction zone (SSZ).
