Summary: | Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the big developments in technology right now. AR is an
experience where designers enhance parts of users’ physical world with computer-generated
input. Since the use of AR is getting bigger and be able to enhance the audience's interest so the
study and implementation of the technology in boosting the promotion of performing art that is
left behind needs to be done. In this paper, I will find the relevant study of the previous
implementation of AR in the performing arts performance especially theater, and I also will
conduct a study on what technique are relevant and must be done in order to successfully
boosting the number or audience to come to the theater show using AR to enhancing the
promotional poster as a method to attract more audience and increase the sales of the tickets.
The data gathering process in this study will be conducted by two (2) ways which are interview
and question air that focusing on the performing arts (theater) activist. The result of the
acceptance of AR as a promotional tool also will be displayed in this paper. The result then will
be analyses for implementing in future work. |
