Summary: | As the Internet grew to become prominent, the introduction Web 2.0, have triggered
many authors to analyze and to suggest theories and models of technology acceptance
to be able to predict and explain user behavior with technology by taking into account
rapid alternation in both technologies as well as their conditions. Each theory or
model continues to be suggested by various teams of detenninants and moderators
and many of them happen to be developed in the U.S. It thus remains asked if the
theories and models of technology acceptance which have been developed, modified,
and extended within the U.S. may be used in other nations, particularly in Malaysia. It
can also be asked whether there will be other determinants and moderators which play
important roles within this specific atmosphere. This research examined literature in
respect oftive prominent theories/models, examined previous literature concerning IT
acceptance and usage within four contexts of studv as descrihed in thf' nhjective~ The
final statement is described to be the primary focus of the research. |
