This project is a hardware based product which emphasis on the use of Arduino and colour sensor. The main goal of this project is to facilitate the parents in building up and boosting the understanding of their children towards financial theory. The ATM simulator has two modes which allow the children to play with the board game which complemented in this project and use the ATM simulator as the banking device or use the ATM simulator for their real savings. The creation of this ATM simulator is due to the lack of educational platform provided. The urgency of this creation is also because of the low level of financial literacy among Malaysia. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to tackle this problem by providing knowledge at early age. The target audience of this product is the children between the ages of 5 until 17. This ATM simulator will be a jumping- off point to channel the knowledge of financial to kids and young adults. In developing this project, a prototyping methodology has taken in place and every activity in each phase has been well- explain in chapter three. For this paper, there are five chapters in total which starts with the introduction, literature review, methodology, result and discussion and ends with the conclusion and recommendation of the Arduino Based Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Simulator for Children Financial Learning.
