Summary:Construction Industry is recognized in every country as one of the top contributors to the Gross Domestic Product, including Malaysia. With the number of construction projects in Malaysia growing last year, the quality in the construction industry being the main concern to the construction industry players. It has been reported, based on CIDB reports, that the quality control in the construction industry is not up to date compared with other countries. Quality is primarily about resources, safety and time. Thus, it is a necessity to incorporate a proper quality management system in every construction project in Malaysia. The most widely used system in evaluating product quality in Malaysia is Quality Management System (QMS) where this system facilitates the construction industry in enhancing project quality outcomes.
