The problem of parking is very important in today’s automobile-oriented cities.the congestion in many cities is due to inadequate parking facilities. In can be attributed to the fact that the population and motorist have increased in recent years. The parking problem is especially important because it affects everyone and not only the individual drivers, but also downtown merchants and businessmen, transit operators and trucking concerns. Many areas don’t really have a parking supply problem, they have a parking management problem which parking spaces that are unavailable to the motorist who need them. The parking problem not only exist in urban area, but almost universities also have a same problem. That is why the proper parking management is very important to reduce the parking problem at campur or universities. It is because the parking management have many strategies planning that result in more efficient use of existing parking resources. When appropriately applied parking management in UTP campus, can reduce the number of parking space that required in some situation, and when the all impacts are considered, management is the best solution to parking problem. There are many strategies and planning to solve the parking problem and some of them are suitable to be implemented in the university.
