The usage of air conditioning systems during summer showed considerable growth in the last few years in all over the world and mainly in European residential area and commercial buildings [13,14]. Considerations about energy efficiency and environmental impact suggest that available heat driven cooling technologies coupled with solar thermal collectors could perform better than conventional plants based on chillers or heat pumps. Solar cooling is a particularly interesting application of solar energy since the load is matched by the overall solar availability. In temperate climates, these systems guarantee a better utilization of solar collectors, further improving the economic performance of solar thermal systems that provide heating and domestic hot water. A desiccant wheel is coating applied for the solely purpose of dehumidifying the air stream. The objective of this research is to reduce energy consumption for air conditioning system in a room. Conventional air conditioning system requires high energy which was approximately 13793.3792btu/hr because the air conditioning system needs to cool the air below the dew point of the air temperature in order to decrease the temperature. Thus, the conventional air system will use a lot of electricity. By using solar desiccant cooling system, the energy requires to cool the air was 10471.047btu/hr which is about 24.09% in reduction. It is approximately saved 1kW of energy.
