Wave energy is one of the most environmental friendly energy sources and it is also one of the cheapest forms of renewable energy sources. Linear generator is an electromechanical energy converter. It undergoes a reciprocating motion that converts mechanical power into electrical power. It does carry the advantage of being more environmental friendly, more energy efficient, lighter and more compact.
