The face recognition system consist of four (4) major stages namely image preprocessing, feature extraction, matching technique and classification technique. In feature extraction stage, the input images are converted into grayscale image prior to applying the 2D GWs. The resulting feature vectors are used to test the similarity score with the feature vectors of the facial image in the database.
