DEVELOPMENT AND MECHANICAL BEHAVIOUR OF SELF-COMPACTING GEOPOLYMER CONCRETE

High consumption of natural resources, environmental concern of CO2 emission due to cement production and improvement on concrete performance has become a driving force behind the search for alternative materials. An effort made in this regard is the development of self-compacting geopolymer conc...

Civil engineering (General) High consumption of natural resources, environmental concern of CO2 emission due to cement production and improvement on concrete performance has become a driving force behind the search for alternative materials. An effort made in this regard is the development of self-compacting geopolymer concrete (SCGC). SCGC is a novel material that involves innovation in the production and casting of concrete. It is a type of concrete that does not require compaction for placing it and can be produced by completely eliminating ordinary Portland cement. So far several studies have been done on the characteristics of self-compacting concrete and that of geopolymer concrete in both fresh and hardened state. However, no work has been conducted on SCGC. 2014-01 Thesis NonPeerReviewed application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/1/Status%20of%20Thesis%20%26%20Table%20of%20Contents.pdf application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/2/Chapter%201.pdf application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/3/Chapter%202.pdf application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/4/Chapter%203.pdf application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/5/Chapter%204.pdf application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/6/Chapter%205.pdf application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/7/References.pdf application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/8/Appendix%20%28A%2C%20B%2C%20C%29.pdf application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/15473/9/Appendix%20%28D%2C%20E%2C%20F%29.pdf MEMON, FAREED AHMED (2014) DEVELOPMENT AND MECHANICAL BEHAVIOUR OF SELF-COMPACTING GEOPOLYMER CONCRETE.
