Summary: | There are some issues in modeling problem solving activity by means of Catastrophe
theory, more particularly modeling activity by a cusp-catastrophe. A cusp-catastrophe
describes parameter dependent, bifurcation determined states of stability and instability,
which under specific condition can move into the realm of chaos. Thus, the model of
‘catastrophe’ and ‘chaos’ belong to the same family.
Thus, during this project, Hobbs equation and Euler bending theory is the main things to
be used. All the mathematical modeling were base on Hobbs equation. The imperfection
in buckling is considered as catastrophe effect which means nature factor.
The objective of this project is to analyze the parameters that affect the buckling of the oil
pipeline sub sea. |
