Summary:Nowadays school students are having less interest in learning and reading from textbooks. Textbooks are considered mundane and not attractive thus fail to capture students’ attention. Therefore, the use of textbooks needs to be supplemented with some other interesting means. Thus, the idea of creating animated learning application would be useful as it can be one of the alternative ways to attract students in their learning process. This application may attract students’ attention and assist them to better understand the learning subject. This application introduces the usage of stick figures in the teaching and learning process of history subject among form one students. By implementing stick figures which are simple and easy to draw, it may engage students’ interest in learning history. Therefore, this application may overcome the problem of using textbooks in school which is boring and mundane. Thus, it is hoped that students will be more interested in learning and gain better knowledge through the use of this application.
