Summary:This project investigates the 3D molecular modeling of hyaluronic acid (HA), curcumin, polylactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) and polyethylene glycol bis amine (PEG-bis amine) and all the possible conjugated forms between the compounds as bioconjugates for targeted delivery to cancer cells. Modeling work had been done using Discovery Studios 2.5 from Accelrys Inc. USA. The study focuses on targeted delivery of curcumin to colorectal cancer cells. The generated model will be used in the studies of drug delivery to cancer cells.
