Summary:State-of-the-art haptic (or force-feedback) devices allow users to feel and touch virtual objects with a high degree of realism. While, museum is an institution which protects and preserves the national heritage as well as delivers the knowledge to the general public. Haptic technology will provide touch experiences to wider audiences; allow users to use their sense of touch and will able to feel virtual materials as if they were touching a real physical specimen while preserving the artefacts for a longer period.
