in this area. Some of the injuries required
surgical intervention using implants which are
expensive, depending on nature of the injuries.
However criteria for free-implant in Malaysia
are eligible only for certain age group; patients
above 60 years old and student below 17 years
old4
. This could be an economic burden for the
healthcare system as well as the victims. This
study is looking at the impact of animal related
MVA on the socio-economy of people in West
