This paper attempts to examine earning money in Islam by tracking religious texts on money earning and discuss their meanings. The purpose of this paper is toarouse Muslim young people spirits in order that they exert hard work to nurture economy of Muslim society. It also aims at identifying the ruling on continuing a failed business as well as changing the type of business without a valid reason. The research takes an analytical approach by tracking religious texts from the Quran and Sunnah andgettinginspired by the businessesrun by prophets and Sahaba (companions of prophet Mohammed). The findings indicate that economic activities should be integrated i.e. versifiedconsisting of different types including agricultural, industrial and commercial. It was also found that anyone who is the head of a family is accountable for earning money.
