Several cosmetic founders have been motivated by ever growing sales to launch variations of cosmetic products for consumer use. Each cosmetic product, however, has its own advantages and disadvantages, often harmful and adverse effects, but Malaysian consumers are not yet aware of the matter. Therefore, shielding cosmetic consumers from any possible flaws that could put them at risk is essential. This paper will therefore analyse, on the basis of an established statistical report, current issues relating to cosmetic products in the domestic market.
