Four batches have graduated with about 60 students in each batch. Feedback from these pioneer students is important to guide the faculty on the improvement of the curriculum. Method: For each batch of students, an exit survey was done using anonymous online Google Forms. The survey involved the last three batches of students. It was done after they had completed their professional II examination. Part of the questions were on the structure of the curriculum, the duration and content of the preclinical (Phase I) and clinical (Phase II) phases, whether the content prepared them for future progression and whether they would recommend UniSZA MBBS programme to others. The response was in the scale of 1 to 5 from ‘very dissatisfied’,’dissatisfed’, ‘neutral’, ‘satisfied’ and ‘very satisfied’. Results: There were 158 students responded to the survey. The mean (SD) were; structure of phase I curriculum 3.8(0.73), duration of phase I modules 3.9(0.69), content of phase I 3.9(0.71), adequacy of phase I to progress to clinical years 3.7(0.82), structure of phase II curriculum 4.0(0.68), duration of phase II postings 4.0(0.72), content of phase II 4.1(0.60), adequacy of phase II to progress to working environment 4.1(0.62), competency of clinical skills in phase II 4.0(0.68) and overall quality of the programme 4.2(0.64). About 55.6% (88/158) of students would definitely recommend and 33.5% (53/158) probably recommend UniSZA MBBS programme to others. Conclusion: The pioneer batches of UniSZA were generally satisfied with the MBBS programme. They seemed to be more satisfied with the phase II curriculum.
