Description
Summary:The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic had hit hard and interrupted many dimensions of our lives, particularly education. The Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal have triggered a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment. As a response to interruption of education, especially higher education due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this Webinar is a collaborative reaction that narrates the overall view and reflections of three heads of the ACD Universities, from neighbouring countries namely Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. Being in the same storm, but in different boats, we shall be learning from their experiences on how they have navigated through and emerge stronger from the VUCA environment. Every day we are making decisions about the wellbeing of our business and family that are difficult and unfamiliar. Though the timeline is uncertain, we are eagerly anticipating for that vaccine and hoping that we will come back to some sense of normalcy. However, when the smoke clears, what will the landscape look like for all of us, and what are the implications for higher education? In this Webinar forum we are pleased to have a panel of three VCs and Rectors from ACD Universities from Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, to share their first-hand experiences in mitigating the onslaught of this unprecedented VUCA environment and to suggest the implications for higher education industry.
