总结:To ensure the effectiveness of an information strategic plan, the company’s strategic information has to be closely aligned to its strategic business objective. This has explicitly depicts the paramount role of Information Strategic Planning (ISP), which has become especially important in today’s fast changing environment. Factors influencing the success or failure of information system (IS) have been discussed frequently in many literatures (Li, 1997). This study has tried to inspect some challenges and issue of developing an Information Strategic Planning (ISP) from the eyes of medical business. The study has through prudent intensive literature brought forth four issues of challenge, which have been attention of many IS-related researches, to be examined onto medical business. These issues are: The need for transformation/ Managing Change, Top Management Support, lnformation System (IS) personnel skills and expertise and roll-in plan for ISP. In addition to these four issues, the study has brought in a new issue namely The Right Mindset, Which has not been coined by any researches of ISP issues. This altogether made up five major focuses to be examined in this study. Issues other than these five major concerns which gain trivial importance in IS issues of ISP has been brought in to be concerned under Other IS Implementation in this study. Using the Case Study approach, this study has permeated into the medical business environment where the mentioned issues are scrutinized to seek their significance in medical business. Generally, the study is organized in five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction to the project, where it delineates the problem statement, objective, significance of study, and the limitation of study. The following two topics are literature review (Chapter 2) and research methodology (Chapter 3) respectively. Chapter 4 resides finding and discussion of the study. The last chapter is the conclusion and recommendations of the study.
