In this project report, it will show why the chassis design of a go-kart is considered one of the key component used by mechanical design engineers to compete with other go-kart. In order to investigate the structural properties of the chassis design, a detailed numerical test has been conducted by means of finite element analysis (FEA) calculation software. Competition vehicles optimization requires a knowledge of physical phenomena involved. To have a quantitative idea of actual track performance, structural analysis been conducted. In this project report, it will focusing on the design and develops of chassis for a go-kart not only for it rigid and strong appearance but also considering the structural study for the chassis.
