总结:Seismic modeling is an important method in predicting the reservoirs in the subsurface. Forward modeling is employed to observe the elastic wave propagation behavior in homogenous medium. The propagated seismic waves provide the information about the reservoirs. As the subsurface contains the discontinuities and the rock formations give rise to the seismic reflections. AGC is applied to enhance the subsurface reflections. For these time series reflections Autoregressive (AR) model is used to predict the average reflections that are gathered in common depth point with deep and shallow explosion source of energy. The main objectiveofthis research is to develop a model for seismic reflections in a fractured velocity model. Key input parameters are velocity of P wave, velocity of S wave, density and fracture depth. Two different boundary conditions; Clayton Engquist (CE) boundary condition and Rigid boundary condition are taken onto the boundaries of velocity model.
