Description
Summary:This work presents the design and analysis of a triple V-slit rectangular patch antenna with an asymmetric coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed structure, optimized for future microwave applications. The proposed design achieves a broad bandwidth and demonstrates a resonant frequency of 586 MHz with a remarkable return loss of -62.404 dB. The work of simulation is using CST Microwave Studio. Field testing validated the antenna's effectiveness in detecting electromagnetic radiation from lightning strikes. The results highlight the antenna's low gain (2.17 dBi) and high sensitivity, making it ideal for integration into lightning detection systems. This study contributes to advancements in antenna design for precision electromagnetic applications.
