| Summary: | This paper describes the pilot project of implementing Design Thinking (DT) method in the teaching and learning of selected Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) courses in a private university in Malaysia specifically Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). It is a collaborative three-year project between UNITEN and eleven higher learning institutions from six other countries. This project focuses on modernizing ICT education with the introduction of DT as its teaching and learning method. The project aims to enhance higher education capacity in ICT across Asia, harness students? innovation potential and enable them to implement their ideas. It involves seven lecturers teaching eleven ICT courses with 771 undergraduates? involvement in a duration of four semesters.
