Summary:The research determines the Islamic financial literacy of the selected Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The purpose of this paper is to assess the level of literacy and the impact on sustainability of MSMEs in the East Java Province. The paper used a questionnaire to explore and gain the primary data in an attempt to measure the level of Islamic financial literacy among MSMEs in the district. A total of 250 respondents participated in the study which was based on random sampling method. A survey methodology was utilized to accomplish the objectives of this study. In an attempt to collect the data, this research designed a structured questionnaire as an instrument that can evaluate the level of financial literacy. The collected data was tabulated using Microsoft Excel. Descriptive and inferential analysis were used to examine the extent of awareness regarding financial literacy among MSMEs
