The purpose of this study was to determine how teens in Malaysia use the Internet to support their social and academic activities.In particular, it was intended to find out the pattern of the Internet use, the effects of the Internet on the teens' learning process, the usefulness of the Internet, and the problems associated with its use.The population of the study was all form four students from thirty-five secondary schools in Kota Bharu, Malaysia.A random sample of 297 answered the questionnaire which constitute 199 (67.0%) male and 98 (33.0%) female students.
