Sustainable tourism is a concept already adopted by many destinations such as Costa Rica, and Maldives to counter or minimize negative impacts often associated with the practice of mass tourism.It opens door for management of existing tourism resources for the benefit of future generations and advocates that destination or tourism products managers strive to incorporate sustainable practices into their management style.
