Description
Summary:The creation of the Malaysian Green Technology Financial Scheme is a strategy of the government to become a green society and to ensure that the nation will be sustainable. There is no doubt that the financing scheme has supported the green technology companies and it is high time to know what impact it has on the business performance of the companies that availed of the loan and how internal and external factors may influence this impact to the companies' business performance. The research used qualitative method, employing case study and thematic analysis. The results of the research showed the current status of the GTFS, from its initial launching to its recurrence as GTFS 2.0. Results showed internal and external factors have most effects on the recipient companies. And findings also showed a noted improvement in business performance, both non-financial and financial, for the recipients of GTFS as an effect of the internal and external factors through the financial scheme.
