This study will focused on flood disaster management and the linkage in between school communities. Three schools involved in this study which are vulnerable to flood disaster in Tanah Merah, Kelantan. The objectives of this study is to identify programme of Disaster Resilience Education (DRE), to identify level of knowledge on awareness towards DRE and to investigate the factor on awareness towards DRE. Method used by this research study is by survey using questionnaire where it contains five section which include demographic, preparation, mitigation, recovery and response towards flood disaster. Then, the results were analysed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis which is, independent sample t-test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is used. For this findings, lack of programme towards DRE among school communities and lower knowledge on awareness towards DRE were determined. Lastly, gender, type of respondents, race and type of school were contribute to the factor that effect awareness towards DRE.
