DSC and XRD revealed the presence of multiple crystalline phases of PVDF in the coating which eventually increased the crystallinity and melting temperature. The removal of the CFx chain from alkylsilane occurred at elevated temperatures, which decreased the repellent characteristic. Overall, the coating demonstrated good thermal stability until the temperature of 450degree celsius with the ISO class 2 adhesion.
