Description
Summary:This research is been conducted by three part six students of Diploma in Public Administration under the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies. Under the supervision of our supervisor, Madam Noor Fadhleen Binti Mahmud, and our lecturer who teaches us this subject Sir Leftenan Colonel Saiful Anwar Bin MD Ali (PAD340), we are given the authorities to complete this research with full of commitment and quality. This is the study of student’s perception towards security management in UiTM Samarahan, Sarawak. Our focus issue is in students residential. The purpose of this study was to identify standards for effective security management of university in students residential. In this study, we want to know how secure the hostel is for the students. A residential college is a facility provided by the university management for student welfare. The student should know how to ensure their belonging is kept in save place. But, living in hostel is not guaranteed the students’ property is saved. Security management is a broad field of management related to asset management, physical security and human resource safety functions. It involves the identification of an organization's information assets and the development, documentation and implementation of policies, standards, procedures and guidelines. Every university must provide the security management to ensure the students is living in the safety zone.
