Summary:This course has two components. Component I - The course focus on the civilization and architectural history of the South East Asia region by looking at the ancient and traditional architectural development within South East Asia. Reference is also made to the main chronological map to establish inter-cultural links of the different countries. Component II - The course focus on the study of architectural development in Malaysia from its pre-Islamic period to the present enhanced by Measured Drawing projects of local historical buildings.
