Risk in industry. Operational risk Research Ergonomics design plays an important role in contributing to the employee performance in completing their tasks. Therefore, this academic research was conducted in order to examine the impact of ergonomic designs towards employee performance at Asia Metropolitan Kuching. The data of this study were gathered through the questionnaire of the online survey and randomly selected from the total population. In this study, the researcher used the descriptive analysis and frequency analysis. A number of 50 respondents from the college were selected to participate in this research. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 16.0 has been applied to conduct the entire analysis such as to generate descriptive analysis and the statistic which was based on the 50 returned online survey. An expected results consists of Cronbach’s Alpha level for the overall constructs, should be above 0.700 and detail analysis of the study findings as elaborated in Chapter 4. The study findings also showed that an overall Cronbach’s Alpha is at 0.8, which suggested that this study instruments to be accepted due to internal consistency. Above all, the seating design was the strongest factor followed by computer design and workspace design that brought impact to the employee performance at Asia Metropolitan College Kuching. Along the study period, the researcher found that some limitations has occurred due to small population and limited time frame to conduct the research. Therefore, the researcher highly recommends that the organization should have an improvement not only on the workspace design but also the computer design and the seating design too.
